CONNECTED AND SHARED X-IN-THE-LOOP TECHNOLOGIES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE DESIGN, Vladimir Ivanov, Automotive Engineering Group, TU Ilmenau , DE

XILforEV project strives for developing a complex experimental environment for designing electric vehicles (EV) and their systems, which connects test platforms and setups from different domains and situated in different geographical locations. The project will virtually integrate Elaphe in-wheel motors and support modelling of vehicle dynamics, powertrain dynamics, brake dynamics, driving comfort, secondary functions and functional safety in the context of Audi vehicle platform.

About EVS32:

Sustainable mobility is a core concern for all industrial players and public authorities. It affects both our lifestyles and our economy, as well as facing major changes, such as electrification, connectivity and driver-less vehicles. To prepare for these changes, it is essential to fully understand how new technology will be used in future mobility, together with the related business models and issues surrounding social acceptability.

EVS (Electric Vehicles Symposium) is the leading international event to address all these issues. The various components of electric mobility will be on display; from markets to vehicle battery technology (hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell); from motorcycles to trucks, and from charging facilities to related services and public policy

EVS32 will take place from 19 May to 22 May 2019 in Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy and a city that is highly involved in the development of electric mobility. The region is home to research centres, innovation clusters and manufacturers of electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells and driver-less vehicles. The symposium will be held at the Eurexpo Congress Center situated east of Lyon.

The exhibition, conference rooms and amphitheatre are all located together in Hall 6, adjacent to the car park from where test vehicles can be driven to write a new page in the global development of electric mobility and play a role in creating this new «world of e-motion».

We look forward to seeing you at EVS32, which will be a unique opportunity for you to present our technology and services to an international audience.
