Elaphe CEO speaks on opportunities for funding key innovation in Europe:
As a key actor in European innovation, Elaphe CEO talks on the benefits and shortfalls of available innovation and research funding for high-growth, global EU enterprises. The talk will be a reinforcement and a key input for the discussions with the EC and EU Council Presidency and national policy makers about the opportunities and further needs of financial instruments fostering research and innovation. The talk is all about how to use Financial Instruments in Fostering Research and Innovation. The event aims at raising awareness of the potential for the financial instruments, facilities and accompanying measures launched, especially under EU’s Horizon 2020 funding scheme to enhance access to finance for research and innovation.
A particular focus of the conference will be to enhance interactions between the financial instruments to help innovative firms access finance more easily.
Key attendees are policy-makers, financial intermediaries (such as bank or other lender and risk-capital fund), representatives of the research, innovation and/or business communities (including SMEs and medium and large midcaps).
The event is an initiative by the European Commission, organised by the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria, run in association with the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Investment Fund (EIF), supported by Tech Tour Global.
The conference is taking place at Sofia Tech Park, 14-15 June 2018.
