{"id":5551,"date":"2021-06-28T15:37:30","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T14:37:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/in-wheel.com\/?p=5551"},"modified":"2024-08-09T08:09:21","modified_gmt":"2024-08-09T07:09:21","slug":"hiefficient-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in-wheel.com\/en\/public-projects\/hiefficient-project\/","title":{"rendered":"HiEFFICIENT project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HiEFFICIENT project stands for &#8220;Highly EFFICIENT and reliable electric drivetrains based on modular, intelligent and highly integrated wide band gap power electronics modules&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Within the project, partners will develop the next generation of wide bandgap semiconductors (WBG) in the area of smart mobility.<\/p>\n<p>To boost this development and the market introduction in automotive applications, HiEFFICIENT partners have set ambitious goals to gain higher acceptance and achieve the maximum benefit in using WBG semiconductors such as:<\/p>\n<p>1.) Reduction in Volume of 40%, by means of integration on all levels (component-, subsystem- and system level),<\/p>\n<p>2.) Increase efficiency beyond 98%, while reducing losses of up to 50%,<\/p>\n<p>3.)
