Do Elaphe control functions satisfy all the relevant standards?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Elaphe team continuously performs vehicle testing sessions to evaluate the durability, reliability, safety, and performance of in-wheel-powered vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2022, the team headed to the proving grounds of Arjeplog, Sweden, to tune vehicle dynamics algorithms and perform functional safety tests on Elaphe SUV.<\/p>\n<p>Our prototype SUV showed great results in different conditions \u2013 in snowstorms, slippery grounds, forest tracks, and more. See the video below!<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"2022 Winter testing of in-wheel-powered SUV\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qGvRUGYSgN0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Multiple tests were performed, especially torque vectoring tests with direct drive on different low mu surfaces and scenarios such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Split mu;<\/li>\n<li>Forest track;<\/li>\n<li>Circular and handling track;<\/li>\n<li>Moose test;<\/li>\n<li>Fault injection;<\/li>\n<li>Grip control at launch on polished ice;<\/li>\n<li>Tank steer mode and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Winter testing session was an opportunity to meet with automotive companies, this being a wonderful opportunity to take them for a spin and give them first-hand experience with our in-wheel technology.<\/p>\n<p>Their reactions were a great confirmation of our efforts in improving the NVH and overall driving feel of our vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Those are some of the statements of our leading OEMs and Tier 1s collaborators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;The fat ballerina is clearly heavy but also surprisingly agile when it comes to slalom in sport mode.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I knew it had potential years ago, but now it&#8217;s tangible!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;When you go to Sport mode, the vehicle loses 500kgs.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The integration is superb, NVH very smooth, very mature.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The tank steer is just so much fun! &#8220;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Eliminating the transmission is rational for several applications and we are exploring this&#8230;&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Intuitive was the word I was looking for.
