SAE International:  International Powertrains, Fuels & Lubricants Meeting

At the SAE International Meeting in Germany, Elaphe CAE expert engineer Matic Frajnkovic, MSc., will be discussing new R&D principles for optimizing and testing in-wheel motors’ structural integrity based on the freshly published SAE technical paper Structural integrity of in‑wheel motors on Day 2, 11.00 in Rob-Schumann hall.

The presentation (and paper)  uniquely describes the review of loads acting on an in-wheel motor, the workflow of a typical mechanical design processes, testing, and validation activities for achieving the required durability of an in-wheel motor assembly. Learn more.
