It was a truly exceptional experience, not only to see, but to feel the excellence of the drive chain when driving an Elaphe-equipped vehicle. If one can even call it a ‘drive chain’, because with Elaphe there is no chain (i.e. gearbox). Every movement of the in-wheel electric motor is directly transformed into propulsion, with precise and immediate control. There is no delay, no torsion, no rubber compliance that needs to be overcome first — the vehicle responds instantly and exactly as intended.
